Delicate, full-bodied, with floral notes. Fiano is of ancient origin, dating back to Roman times, at a time when this grape was known as Vitis Apiana because of its sweetness favored by bees. After a difficult period in the 1960s, in which the ancient provincial viticultural heritage was almost lost, Antonio Mastroberardino's stubborn action brought Fiano back to the most cultivated vineyards in the province of Avellino, and the grape variety aroused interest even outside the region:
